why aren’t these being reblogged more often?
i rather see these than “keys in hand”
Umm so since I’m stupid could someone kindly explain each step for me like step 3 am i head butting him in the face or the chest?
I think it depends on the height of the person, but I suppose the head is a more effective target. I hope this helps :)
Step 1: Step back the moment he reaches for you.
Step 2: Duck!
Step 3: Head butt him in the chin. It’s very important that it is the chin and not the chest because it is much more uncomfortable and disorienting to have your teeth bang together especially if it cuts his tongue (which it will if it is in the way). More than likely height won’t matter. He will be leaning forward from the missed attempt at grabbing you.
Step 4: Knee him in the balls.
Step 5: When he doubles over, jab him on his back. I believe at the base of the neck just above the shoulder blades would be best. I’m not an expert, but this seems like the best place, imo.
Step 6: Don’t lose contact. Bring your other hand over and slam your hands against the sides of his heads as hard as possible. Right on the ears is the best place; it is extremely disorienting if done correctly. Then take his head and bring it down on your knee as you bring your knee up. It’s very important that you avoid the nose because if you knee his nose it will definitely break and more than likely the bones will stab his brain killing him, so aim for his mouth instead.
Step 7: Keep your knee up and bring your foot out to kick him over. Personally, I don’t like the image because it looks like she kicked him with her toes. You do not want to do that. Instead kick him with the ball or heel of your foot and put power behind it with a push.
Step 8: He is on the ground. You could probably stop here and he would get the picture, but if you really want to…Your leg is still in the air from the kick. With all your force slam the edge of your your heel on his side. It will be more effective if you lower your body first by bending at the knee of the leg your weight is on. Done right, you can break a rib or two.
reblogging again for that^
Reblogging for the steps in the image and the explanation in the comments. I don’t so much like the explanation on the image proper, but I appreciate the thought behind it (here, have a self-defense thing, it could save you) and so I’m passing it on.
This is an important message- but I don’t think the word “dignity” needs to be there.

Here we see a perfect example of how to tell a prime minister to go fuck himself without actually saying the words.

Day 4: Favorite Star of Destiny in Suikoden III
Come on. COME ON! I had Pesmerga and you’d think I wouldn’t say Yuber? I have fond memories of the wait pre-III. Of me praying to see returning characters. Me curious who had kids with who.
Oh I was NOT prepared for the glory of Yuber. I NEVER saw him as a Star of Destiny and I giggled like a crazy woman when I finally got him.
Look at that outfit too. Boy knows he has swagger.
Kokoro goes Doki doki over Yuber-san~<3
So recently a game came to my attention, Suikoden II. I’ve been playing the game little by little (almost) every day while my Louchan watches and I’ve just reached South Window and reunited with Rina, Eilie, and Bolgan. And i noticed something extremely interesting that just kind of jumped at me after reading a fair bit of their interactions and such with both each other and others up until the point right before you take
BearViktor and go see the mayor. (Which i haven’t done yet, i just stopped for the day.)
Now, fair warning. I have not advanced past this point, and i have NEVER played this game before. So my knowledge of these characters, and what i interpret from them is solely based on what I’ve witnessed so far. And it may change in the future, or develop and become more elaborate. This is just a very interesting observation that i felt the need to share.
I love the whole Suikoden series. The different games are related and placed in the same world, often sharing many of the characters, which makes their characters development go beyond the plot and ending of each game. What’s just as interesting as the characters is their world: their world mature with them as well, the nations and borders change, the mentalities of the people…
But focusing on the character alone, many gamers agree that Suikoden is one of the series that, even being kind of “old-school-jrpg” already, makes a superb job with the characters for many reasons, including many of those you stated. For instance, the portrayal of women of all ages, children, middle aged men and elderly is awesome, and I am mentioning it because it is common in shows/games/books to focus too much in young people and their limited view of the world. Most shows/books/etc. have one kid who obviously acts like a stereotyped kid, or just one old man who is stereotyped as well, if you know what I mean. When I was a teenager and all I could see in the media and books was unrealistic and young main characters, the Suikoden series made me realize that not only the young and handsome drive the story, or have the strength and the charisma. I liked the fact that, even if the hero you control im-game is around 16, he is still surrounded by actual adults who support him -and by adults I mean most of them are over 25-30 years old-
One of my favorite united attacks in the game — a Kobold warrior riding a feral wolf to victory by aid of the whole ‘bone attached to a stick’ routine.
See, this is just one of the reasons you should play the Suikoden series guys.
